  1. *ANIMATED SERIES UPDATE!* Donate today at to help contribute to making animated graphic novels (motioin comics) adaptations possible!

Though we didn’t hit our Kickstarter goal required to fund a fully-animated 30-minute episode of our series, we are proceeding with additional efforts to fund illustrated graphic novel-style videos!

Though we may need to start with a goal that is slightly less grand, we are confident that the material we produce with your help will allow us to reach new fans, excite our existing ones, and make it easier for us to expand into larger and larger projects, such as the fully-animated series, video game production, or other visually-oriented things we have planned!

The first step in getting where we’re going is to get our audio animated! And we still need your help!

As of today, we’ve launched a GoFundMe fundraiser at:

At GoFundMe.com, any funds you donate will contribute to our goal, regardless of whether or not we reach the total amount requested (currently set at $5,000).

Though this far less ambitious goal will not allow us to acquire the talents of a gentleman such as Robert Englund, or allow for full 30-frames-per-second animation, it will allow us to expand into animated graphic novel style short film production, similar to the quality and presentation shown here, in our friend Bo Mathorne’s music video:

So… if you’d like to join in and help us get a start in a different way, join us today at GoFundMe.com!

  2. It’s finally here folks! Episode 5 in all its glory! And remember, if you’d like to hear the full episode, become a patron of CTFDN today!

  3. Really?!? The exact same story as No Sleep Podcast on the same week. C’mon guys you can do better. While an excellent story that all horror fans should get a chance to experience, It would have been better to hold that story for a few weeks.

  4. You guys are my new favorite scary story channel on youtube. The production value alone is on a level unmatched by anyone else.

  5. Hello darkness my old friend. Its been a long day without you my friend, and I’ll tell you all about when I see you again.

  6. YES!!! I am so happy right now! You guys just turned a dull Monday into a brilliant day that doesn’t feel like Monday at all!!!

  7. one of my favorite episodes yet. I realy admire the atmosphere. you realy capure the emotion like no one has. good job guys.

  8. Since the beginning of the #YouTubeAdBoycott – just the past week – our ad revenue has dropped by 85% (see here: ). It impossible to refute the impact. Note the dates pre and post-boycott, where view counts remain virtually the same, and yet ad revenue drops by huge margins.

Not familiar with the #boycott? Here’s a good video discussing it:

For anyone asking, this obviously impacts us. We went from generating enough revenue daily to support two full-time producers to not having enough revenue to do Chilling Tales for Dark Nights part-time.

Regrettably, this #AdBoyCott has single-handedly removed the incentive to provide original content on YouTube, and Google has done nothing to show support for the people who make their platform worth going to, or offered any reassurance whatsoever, except that they intend to further censor everyone.

As producers of horror fiction entertainment, CTFDN doesn’t even fall under the categories of content being targeted by these advertisers, and yet… here we are, having lives turned upside down over this deluded B.S.

We need your support as Patrons to continue producing the entertainment you enjoy, and in order to expand. Sign up today to help:

  9. I seriously love this channel so much! The readers and the stories they tell are fantastic! <3

I've got my whole group of friends into listening as well. We all gathered at my house on Halloween Night and listened to the podcast. (That's how I got them hooked by the way.) We had a blast! I even think one of my friends couldn't sleep when she left for home!

  10. Midnight Mile promo sounds very ‘Light’s out!’ – ish (the radio show from the 50s I think it was). Was that deliberate? I hope so – that show was great for tales of mystery and terror.
